Job Overview:
The beautiful and iconic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa is seeking a General Manager for this very busy and highly rated destination resort. This position is primarily responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the property to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations while maximizing profits. This AAA Four Diamond resort is a destination property and will require a General Manager with a highly experienced luxury background. Hotel experience required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping
- maintenance, and food service
- Functions as the primary strategic leader of the hotel with responsibility for all aspects of the operation
- Analyzes business results and works with the leadership team to develop effective strategies
- Makes key decisions and oversees execution, removing obstacles to success and ensuring appropriate resources are available to achieve business results
- Financial performance and sales and revenue generation
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability\
- Manage budgets and financial performance of the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
- Handle guest complaints and employee satisfaction resolving issues in a timely mannerQualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors in Business Management/Administration
- Degree in Hotel /Hospitality Management
- Previous experience in hotel and resort management required
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of Aloha POS system is preferred

The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting and may be modified in the future.
