At Pattern Bioscience, we’re tackling antibiotic resistance, one of the biggest public health challenges of our time. Our technology rapidly identifies bacterial infections and predicts the most effective antibiotics to treat the infection. We’re building direct-from-specimen phenotypic rapid ID/AST assays using live cells on our proprietary instrument and consumable platform.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and thorough Inventory Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. You will be a key part of scaling our inventory management function and partner closely with our Production, Hardware Engineering, Clinical, and lab-based teams to ensure they have what they need and inventory is organized and accurate.

Receive, track and inventory materials and parts

Conduct regular physical counts of stocked materials to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies

Collaborate with our production team to optimize inventory levels based on demand and production schedules

Package and prepare outgoing shipments to labs and partners including coordinating with logistics

Maintain accurate records and reports using our inventory management system

Identify and address any inventory-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner

Have great organizational and time management skills

Are detail-oriented and can stay focused on repetitive tasks for long periods

Perform and document basic mathematical calculations

Utilize basic Excel Spreadsheet functions (ex, filtering, sorting, equations)

Are adaptable and flexible to changing priorities

Enjoy working individually and in a group to solve problems

Proactively seek to understand priorities and look for efficiencies in process

Can lift a maximum of 25 lbs.

Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent with experience in stocking, receiving, selecting, warehouse, or receiving

Improving warehouse and material handling efficiencies
- Communicating and working with vendors

A healthcare or laboratory setting
