Marine Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Diagnose/test marine engines and electrical systems
- Perform warranty repairs and service on various outboard models and horsepower ranging from 2.5hp to 600HP
- Perform various minor repairs and service on other marine systems (i.e. generator, Garmin, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with clients and engine manufacturers about warranty and service related issues and repairs
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding all facets of work
- Thoroughly fill out accurate service records and repair documents
- Maintain clean work areas and keep all tools clean and organized
- Work independently on a job task, if necessary
- Positive attitude to continuously learn, improve and excel skillset
Your maintenance tasks will involve mechanical and electrical repairs to ensure that all vessel components are seaworthy. You’ll need to be deeply familiar with how boats work and what it takes to repair and maintain them. When working on a boat, you must be willing to take on any task no matter how simple it may be.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
