We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to join our team at Dillon Dam Brewery. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire kitchen operation, ensuring high-quality food production, efficient inventory management, and exceptional customer service. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including assisting with menu planning, food preparation, and production.
- Manage inventory and ordering supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing coaching and guidance where necessary.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new kitchen staff.
- Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and quality control.
- Ensure the kitchen is always clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide help and support to other departments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food production, preparation, and presentation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to interview and manage kitchen staff effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality control.
- A positive and supportive attitude, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
- A valid food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
