Part-time Driver needed for our beautiful senior living community, Aviva River Bend in Rochester, Minnesota.
- Part-time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Be able to safely operate a 14 passenger vehicle
- Must have a valid Minnesota driver's license
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and a DOT drug test
- Have 10 years or more experience driving and a clean driving record
- Communicate in English clearly and courteously with our residents and fellow staff
- Be able to safely assist residents in boarding and exiting vehicle
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Assist with light maintenance duties at community when not driving

Position Summary:
This position provides residents with a sense of freedom by taking them to the doctor. The holder may also participate in social outings, such as meals at restaurants, scenic drives and other events.
What you will be doing:
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all residents, resident family members, and associates.
- Maintain a high degree of resident, family, and guest satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high-quality services.
- Maintain a positive image with the community.
- Maintain a clean and safe bus or other community vehicle.
- Maintain a log of travels.
- Observe all federal, state, and city speed regulations and safety regulations as well as company customer service and safety policies.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the property-specific metropolitan area.
- Provide a coordinated and efficient transportation program for community residents.
- Ensure the on-time arrival and departure of residents to their scheduled appointments and other scheduled events.
- Complete and adhere to all other tasks and responsibilities set by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Driver's License in the state of operation
- At least 10 years of driving experience. Have and maintain acceptable driving record per company policy
General Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner, demonstrating patience and compassion.
- Ability to read and write in English
