The Clinician in the Ambulatory Services Department is responsible for the provision of direct services through individual, group and family counseling to people affected by addiction and/or mental illness.
Salary: MA, MEd and MSW’s $64k plus commensurate with experience. Sign-On Bonus eligible.

Duties & Responsibilities
-
Provide 100 hours of direct client service per month in a combination of comprehensive assessments, individual, family and group treatment.

Maintain case records in compliance with agency standards.

Participate in weekly group supervision and individual clinical supervision.

Perform case management functions as necessary for specific clients
-
Communicate, as indicated, with referring agencies and others on behalf of the client.

Submit billing information daily and communicate with insurance providers as needed.

Share on-call coverage as requested by the Director of Ambulatory Services.

Respond to crisis situations as requested.

Pursue licensure.

Other duties as required.
Experience and Skills:
Education & Experience
-
Master’s degree in social work or counseling – related discipline is required.

Experience with treatment of enrollees with chemical dependence and/or psychiatric impairment.

Computer skills.
-
Strong Oral and Written Skills.

Ability to function effectively as a treatment team member.
-
Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.

Self-awareness.
-
Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
