Business Development Executive
We have an immediate opening for a result driven business development executive to proactively identify and prospect federal opportunities in the areas of Human Capital and HR Technology (with a focus on Civilian Federal Agencies). Your sole purpose is to proactively identify contract opportunities, develop relationships with key stakeholders in the federal human capital and HR technology, develop teaming relationships with partner companies for winning proposals.
· Build and effectively manage a pipeline of new opportunities within the federal human capital and HRIT sectors with a primary focus on net new logo contracts.
· Collaborate with internal resources and external network to prioritize and penetrate key accounts; quickly build relationships with key partners to drive business.
· Identify key decision makers, direct points of market and industry intelligence and develop strategic relationships to drive revenue.
· Develop short- and long-term pipeline opportunities.
· Work with internal stakeholders and program leaders to provide guidance on current contract growth opportunities.
· Identify key win themes and develop white papers showcasing OUR solutions and capabilities.
· Attend industry days, networking events, lunches etc. to market OUR solutions.
· At a minimum achieve quarterly business development goals.
· Track and update client and agency contacts, intelligence utilizing internal sales enablement tools and management processes.
· Assist with capture development win themes based on industry, market, competitor intel and OUR differentiators.
· Respond to RFQ, RFIs, monitor sites for upcoming RFP dates.
· Research and gather market intelligence to assist with identifying short- and long-range opportunities.
Note this position is remote 4 days a week and in the office one day a week.
The experience and qualifications needed for this role:
· Minimum 5+ years’ proven consultative sales or business development experience in the federal civilian space. High preference for business development or sales in federal human resources.
· Demonstrated understanding of federal proposal processes specifically with contracts, teaming partnerships, developing win themes, RFPs, RFQ, RFIs etc.
· Experience building credibility quickly with agency and government leaders; partner organizations and business stakeholders.
· Confirmed experience developing and winning new business by effectively building relationships and developing winning opportunities.
· Demonstrated ability to comprehend and problem solve by thinking and acting quickly.
· Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence others in the organization with no direct reporting relationship.
· Ability to articulate a strong value proposition at the executive level.
· Ability to proactively uncover and prioritize prospective opportunities.
· Demonstrates presentation/written skills at an executive level; Excellent communicator who can formulate, oversee, and implement business development strategy and articulate the positive impact to federal organization stakeholders.
· In lieu of direct business development experience will consider 8 + years’ progressive experience as a human capital leader in the military or government agency with the potential to develop and grow business opportunities.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
