Senior Superintendent – Ground Up / Up fit / Remodel Retail work

Positions are open due to multiple ongoing remodel, expansion, and ground up retail projects. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for all site construction activities, including coordinating field and subcontractor personnel to successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, coordinating trade and field personnel, and ensuring good construction safety practices are followed. You will also be responsible for maintaining the job site office and closing out projects. This client considers candidates from anywhere in Florida or those open to local travel and some night work.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising/coordinating subcontractor trades
- Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production in all phases of construction
- Ground up and/or Retail Upfit experience for Big Box Retail, Grocery Stores, Strip Malls, etc. (Walmart experience is a strong plus!)
- Knowledge and experience in field supervision, quality control, scheduling, ordering, safety, and production throughout all phases of the construction process
- OSHA 30-hour Construction Training preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and basic mathematical skills
- Must be self-driven, team planner, and able to multitask and switch gears in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude with others
- Able to interact and maintain a positive relationship with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees
- Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation and willingness to travel
