Job Description – Night Operations Office Clerk
Classification: Non-exempt
Reports to: Night Operations Managers
The primary function of this position is to support the Talent Acquisition Manager. Administrative Assistant for the Recruiting Department will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day recruiting process, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Order Verification: Review outbound orders and identify any missing items (shorts). Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to locate and fulfill missing products.
- Inventory Management: Utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check inventory levels, track product availability, and identify potential stock-outs that might impact orders.
- Customer Service Liaison: Monitor the night operations email for any customer service inquiries related to orders. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and other departments to resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Error Tracking and Reporting: Identify and track selector errors, including mispicks, incorrect quantities, and labeling mistakes. Document errors and work with supervisors to implement corrective actions to minimize future occurrences.
- Order Documentation: Ensure all order and routing paperwork is complete and accurate. This may include packing slips, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation to accompany outgoing shipments.
- Additional Duties: Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Night Operations Supervisor.
Qualifications
Education/Training
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work nights and weekends (flexible schedule may be available).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move around freely in varied indoor and outdoor environments.
- Normal visual acuity.
- Good hearing and oral communication skills.
- Manual dexterity and ability to use a keyboard and mouse comfortably.
- Able to sit for extended periods.
Work Environment
This position is located within our refrigerated warehouse. The Night Operations Office is situated directly on the refrigerated dock floor. As a result, the Night Operations Office Clerk will be required to walk through the cold environment to access their workspace throughout their shift.
This is a primarily sedentary position requiring extended periods of sitting at a computer workstation. The work environment is located in a professional office setting with moderate ambient noise levels. Our office boasts ergonomically designed workstations with adjustable chairs and keyboards to promote comfort and well-being. The temperature is climate-controlled, and the lighting is bright and well-lit.
Pay Rate: $20/hr.
