The Senior Financial Analyst is a key financial position supporting our fast-growing SaaS business. Initial responsibilities include working with a cross functional team to enhance/create key performance indicators (“KPI”) and reporting for our SaaS business including both financial and non-financial information. This position will work closely with our Finance teams as well as senior leaders in cross functional areas of the business.
This position will work intimately with the executive leadership team in developing financial models for key strategic projects, reporting on weekly KPI’s and provided analysis. You are also expected to work closely with Accounting, HR, IT, and Sales Operations to drive system and process improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with a cross functional team to help enhance & create KPI's and reporting packages using both financial and operational based metrics.
- Assist in developing and maintaining SaaS business metrics that help drive business success
- Work closely with COO and CEO to leverage existing Corporate systems and recommend enhancements, changes, or new systems to support SaaS KPIs and reporting
- Perform variance and trend analysis between actual, budget and forecast targets for our SaaS business
- Gain an understanding of our SAAS Dashboard within Baremetrics, auditing and reconciliation of data and building of online dashboard within the tool
- Assist with in-depth analysis including new bookings (ACV), Upgrades, Downgrades and churn to monitor Gross and Net Revenue retention
- Create monthly forecasts (bookings, revenue, expense, capital and headcount) that incorporates current data and any relevant functional input
- Ensure off-line or batch reporting reconciles with existing system-based management reporting (Baremetrics, Recurly, Stripe and Hubspot)
- Create ad hoc analysis as needed
Key Performance Indicator Reporting
- Report on weekly KPI’s such as ACV (Orders), Recurring revenue, customer and unit roll forwards, attrition rates, CAC, LTV and customer retention.
- Investigate variances vs. plan and meeting with department managers for input.
- Utilize Hubspot and Baremetrics systems
Financial Modeling
- Develop complex financial models and present analytics to support Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams
- Assist in developing complex models that support the financial modeling related to potential Mergers & Acquisitions activity.
- Build analytical models that utilize both financial and non-financial data to forecast operating results, scenario modeling.
- Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning
- Prepare various industry and market analyses and benchmarking, as required
Accounting/Financial Systems
- Access Quickbooks general ledger system and financial reporting systems to pull actual financials for use in trending and forecasting analyses and play a key role in developing and enhancing QB Reporting.
- Prepare the monthly financial report with COO and CEO
- Develop, communicate, and manage requirements for reporting and SAAS system enhancements and serves as point person to facilitate business support throughout the technical development process as it relates to the SAAS Dashboard and metrics.

- Regular and reliable attendance is expected as this is a full-time position

Position Requirements:
- Experience in financial modeling, business analysis, FP&A, business integration, analytics in
- Excellent MS Office skills, specifically MS Word and MS Excel (INDEX,VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLES, NPV, IRR, DATA TABLE, WHAT-IF ANALYSIS)
- Advanced experience working with SAAS Metrics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (verbal, written and listening).
- Ability to switch from complex to routine tasks when required.
- Experience using Microsoft-Excel, QB, Baremetrics, Recurly, Stripe and other systems
- Experience creating financial models, including use of database manipulation (e.g. Tableau, Power Pivot, ICRW & Excel).
- Minimum of 5 years of financial analyst experience in software-as-a-service, software, and/ or other related technology industries preferred. Solid understanding of recurring revenue and related KPI’s is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting. CPA, ACA, CFA, MBA preferred

Pay: $80,272.59 - $125,000.00 per year
