Position Title: Intermediate Full Stack Developer

Job Summary: TTC has an exciting opportunity for a talented, hands-on Intermediate full stack developer with a passion for innovation to support working with the US Department of Transportation (DOT), FRA. Candidate should be self-starters who value their work and the contribution of their team members! Candidate must be clearable for a public trust and be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and have lived in the US for the past 3 years consecutively.
Description: Developer will be part of a small team that takes existing manual processes and focuses on turning these processes into customized user-centric applications. These applications will be interactive, responsive and personalized to each process. At the beginning of each project, the Analyst will work with the Business Analyst, Business Owners, and Product Owner to outline the future state of the process. After the future state has been determined, the analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting production problems related to software applications maintaining existing software components upgrading, responding to user reports, interacting with customer stakeholders and researching and prototyping proof of concepts solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting production problems related to existing software applications.
- Enhancing and maintaining existing software components including user interfaces, APIs, services, databases, and reports.
- Upgrading frameworks and software versions.
- Responding to end user problem reports, reviewing suggestions for improvements and enhancement requests.
- Working with the Security Team on remediating security vulnerabilities.
- Interacting with customer stakeholders, end users and team members to identify application requirements.
- Researching and prototyping proof of concept solutions based on client requirements and making recommendations to management.
Requirements/Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IS, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience developing in Angular.
- 4+ years of experience developing in .NET and C#.
- 3+ years of experience developing in Azure
- 3+ years of experience developing in SQL Server
Desired Skills:
- Past experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Front-end development experience using CSS and JQuery.
- Expert understanding of MS MVC, WEB API, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap.
- Expert understanding of MS SQL Server 2008+ with ability to write user defined functions, stored procedures, analyze query plans and profiling traces.
- Working experience with Python development utilizing frontend and backend technologies.
