Responsibilities Include:

Daily, Weekly and Monthly basic health checks of system, servers in a domain network and LAN

Managing and tracking the lifecycle of user accounts

Processing of records management requests and managing records management lifecycle

Providing user assistance and education regarding use of applications and tools within the system

Responding, resolving, and tracking help desk calls and emails
-
Regular and routine patching of software components and servers in a domain network
-
Troubleshooting as well as regular maintenance of desktop devices and peripherals deployed to users and public kiosks

Routine maintenance tasks on servers and software components in a domain network
-
Managing internal inventories and metrics tracking related to assigned tasks and providing reports as required

Tracking of orders as well as asset management

Updating of various contact groups to ensure proper communication with key points of contact

Managing of system bulletins and other routine communications
-
Drafting of routine procedures and submittal of change requests for system

Drafting and revising of standard operating procedures related to user support and device management

Occasional work after-hours, weekends and floating shift coverage
-
Secondary Emergency and Failover Support
-
Secondary support during after-hours and weekend maintenance windows
-
Other tasks as assigned relating to Tier 1 –2 help desk support/resolution, system and database administration, FISMA related tasks, records management, user account lifecycle, user support, user device/peripheral management & maintenance, routine change requests, and routine operations & maintenance tasks.
Day-to-Day Technical Work to include:

Windows Server & Active Directory Administration in a Domain Network

Virtual Machine Administration based on VMware technologies

Backup Tape Library Management

Endpoint Protection and Management Administration

Administration of Desktop Devices and Peripherals

Basic DISA STIGs Remediation

Aptitude for learning new technologies and skills
Mandatory Requirements:
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to gain IT-1 Public Trust
Successfully pass a drug test
Must have resided in the United States for the last 7 years or more, and during this period has not lived overseas for 1 year or more
A minimum of five years of related professional IT experience to include advanced desktop troubleshooting and familiarity with active directory
