D|13 has a disruptor model and go-to-market strategy by being a custom manufacturer and selling ddirectlyto the client versus the traditional wholesale distribution models in this product category.
Position:
We are seeking a high-energy, driven, and goal-oriented Business Development Representative with a demonstrated ability to build relationships, manage a complete sales pipeline, and deliver results. This full-time salaried position involves promoting our Integrated Sink System to various industry verticals such as architects, wholesale distributors, builders, developers, facility engineers, plant managers, contractors, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Actively seek out and engage with potential clients in the commercial construction industry, focusing on architects, owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
- Establish sales objectives and work within D|13 Group SOPs to reach these objectives.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the industry (architects, commercial G.C.s, contractors, MEPs, and wholesale distributors.
- Conduct sales calls and in-person meetings to deliver professional presentations (via video conference or in person) to various individuals and cross-functional teams utilizing appropriate resources to highlight the features and benefits of the D|13 ISS and associated product offerings.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintains, updates, and utilizes SalesForce CRM daily activity to track information, including but not limited to documenting Leads and Opportunities in that sales funnel, entering sales call activities, linking customers, ranking contractors, and keeping calendars up-to-date. *Thorough working knowledge of SalesForce is a requirement for this position.
- Market Research and Strategy: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the commercial construction industry. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to capitalize on these opportunities. Research construction platforms like Dodge Pipeline and other industry reporting platforms to keep informed of upcoming projects with current and new projects.
Reporting:
- Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback. Use data to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
- Provide weekly reporting and updates to management, both ongoing and as requested.
- Prepare reports daily/weekly/monthly for management regarding field activity, sales, competitors, and forecasts.
- Track travel and incidental expenses; prepare and submit expense reports on a timely basis ensuring expenses are within budget parameters.

- Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, profit margins, unit conversions, percentages, area, and volume.
Education/Experience:
- A bachelor's degree; in architecture and/or interior design is considered a plus.
- Prior experience in architectural sales of commercial building products and demonstrated competence with SalesForce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite are a must.
- Knowledge of: architectural specifications; millwork, cabinetry, and/or countertop fabrication; and construction/building industry are considered a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the commercial construction industry or related fields.

Compensation:
Salary plus commission/bonus (based on experience in the field) and established company benefits.
