Maintenance Director
Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of maintenance operations within the organization
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians and provide leadership and guidance
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure efficient operation of facilities
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and provide cost-effective solutions for maintenance needs
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment history
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a high-voltage or low-voltage environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and complete projects on time and within budget
- Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking
