About the Role: As a Therapist at Search Inc., you will facilitate both group and individual therapy sessions for individuals across our programs. This role reports to the Division Director of Clinical Services and is exempt from overtime. Clinical supervision may be provided for qualified candidates.
We are currently looking to hire for a full-time Therapist in our Clinical Services Program This position is Sun-Thurs 12p-8p.
Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000/Year
Job Responsibilities:
Interactions with Individuals:
- Show kindness, courtesy, flexibility, and consistency in meeting individual and program needs.
- Assist individuals with working on goals established in their treatment plans.
- Ensure daily efforts to help individuals learn skills needed for greater independence.
- Participate in developing individual behavioral approaches and behavioral tracking.
- Provide supportive counseling, conflict resolution, and problem-solving assistance on an ongoing basis and during crises.
Administrative/Professional:
- Support the Mission Statement and agency values of Search Inc.
- Demonstrate leadership by encouraging teamwork and respecting differing viewpoints.
- Present yourself professionally as a representative of Search to family members, guardians, community members, and affiliated agencies.
- Advocate for individual rights and services.
- Ensure therapy services specified in the personal plan are being provided.
- Train direct care staff in proper implementation and documentation of therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate individual information within the Harmony system.
- Comply with personnel policies as stated in the employee handbook.
- Understand and adhere to the Corporate Compliance policy and related regulations.
- Maintain daily documentation and recordkeeping of individual progress.
- Complete incident reports according to policy.
- Submit all billing notes within 48 hours of the service date.
- Apply for, receive, and maintain an NPI number.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Cleanliness and Order:
- Maintain the physical environment according to Search standards for cleanliness and order.
- Use proper cleaning products and materials for assigned tasks.
- Show respect for program materials and furnishings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Must have one of the following Illinois licenses: LCPC, LCSW, LCP, LPC, LSW, LMFT.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
- At least one year of experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (preferred).
