Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As a Registered Nurse - Emergency Room, you will be an essential part of our healthcare facility, providing high-quality care to patients in urgent situations. Duties:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting.
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform IV insertions following established protocols.
- Monitor and accurately document patient vital signs and medical information.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Assist in emergency procedures and acute care interventions.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide support for patients and their families.
- Utilize expertise in case management, pediatrics, urgent care, and discharge planning.
- Ensure compliance with ICD-9, ICD-10 coding standards, and discharge planning regulations.
Requirements:
- Active RN license with experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting.
- Proficiency in emergency procedures and pediatric care is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for patient education and family counseling.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine, memory care, and discharge planning processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with urgent care practices and OR protocols is beneficial.
