We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team on a contract basis to enhance our online presence.
Job Summary:
The Contract Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our brand visibility, engage with our community, and drive traffic to our studio. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends, particularly within the boudoir and photography industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy aligned with the studio's goals and brand identity.
Content Creation: Create, curate, and manage engaging content (images, videos, stories, and written posts) for various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and Twitter.
Community Engagement: Foster a positive community experience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote studio services, special events, and client testimonials.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the studio remains competitive and innovative.
Collaboration: Work closely with the photography team, marketing department, and other stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and support overall marketing initiatives.
Advertising: Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, ad creation, and performance tracking.
Brand Ambassadorship: Identify and engage with influencers, brand ambassadors, and potential collaborators to expand the studio's reach.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of_ 2-3 years _of experience in social media management, preferably within the photography, fashion, or beauty industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter) and related tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Strong visual storytelling skills with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Knowledge of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media advertising.
- Creativity: Ability to generate innovative ideas and engage audiences in a meaningful way.
- Photography/Videography Skills: Basic skills in photography and videography are a plus, including editing experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Passion: A genuine passion for boudoir photography and empowering individuals through art.
Contract Details:
Duration: Initial contract will be 6 weeks
Hours: 25-40 hours per week
Compensation: Varies/Experience based
Work Environment: Remote work possible, occasional on-site meetings may be required.
