**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. As an ER Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. This position requires a strong passion for animal care and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. **Duties:** - Assist veterinarians in performing various medical and surgical procedures, including animal catheterization and dog handling. - Provide animal husbandry services, including maintaining a clean and safe environment for animals. - Monitor and care for animals, including administering medications and performing aseptic techniques. - Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to help diagnose and treat animals. - Utilize animal anatomy knowledge to assist with surgical procedures and provide expert care to animals of all species, including equine. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans. - Collaborate with veterinarians and other medical professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care. **Skills:** - Proficiency in animal catheterization and dog handling. - Experience with animal husbandry practices. - Knowledge of equine care and handling. - Expertise in veterinary medicine and aseptic technique. - Laboratory experience and knowledge of animal anatomy. - Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods. - Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
