JOB SUMMARY: The President provides strategic leadership, guidance, and direction for Lodgco Hospitality. In this pivotal role, the President develops and manages Lodgco Hospitality’s assets, sets departmental goals, establishes business metrics, and collaborates with the sales team to optimize revenue strategies. The President also leads the execution of business standards with exceptional guest experience through outstanding service delivery and associates’ full engagement.
This position is remote with monthly travel required to our properties in Michigan and Florida. Starting salary will be commensurate with relevant experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish a hospitality culture with accurate and timely service to the highest level of customer satisfaction and propose innovative solutions for continual improvement for both operations and employee engagement.
- Identify opportunities for further growth.
- Cold call and contact brokers, landlords and developers to identify new on- and off- market leads on properties.
- Provide frequent status reports on all potential acquisitions.
- Attend hotel brand industry events to expand network and cultivate contacts.
- Keep up to date on current and emerging trends, markets, and competitors.
- Further develop the organizational structure, talent, and skills necessary to grow the business.
- Introduce best practices to continually improve Lodgco Hospitality’s operations, monitor for implementation and report on results.
- Develop and implement hospitality strategies to enhance guest experiences and drive customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales strategies, processes, and systems to maximize revenue and profit streams and achieve budgeted revenues and market share penetration.
- Actively engage in promoting revenue management innovation and driving a revenue culture across all Lodgco Hospitality teams.
- Oversee all hotel operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
- Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
- Analyze problematic situations and provide solutions to ensure growth.
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the company.
- Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
- Oversee banking relationships including making sure debt covenants are being met
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management
- Proven success in introducing innovative hospitality concepts and driving revenue growth
- Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing industry trends
- Proven ability to build strong, effective relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills along with strong presentation skills
- Self-motivated, well organized, and goal-oriented
REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related business field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior leadership roles in the hospitality industry
- Food & Beverage, Full Service and new hotel opening experience is preferred
- Travel is expected
