Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications and monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Document and report any changes in residents' condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of hospice care, social work, dementia care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and medication administration protocols
- Understanding of resident rights, HIPAA regulations, and assisted living standards
