Position Summary
The Sr Learning & Org Effectiveness Consultant is responsible for ensuring LOE programs are in place
to enable the achievement of key initiatives, promote a healthy culture and help drive engagement,
growth and retention. The Sr LOE Consultant will design and deliver the department's portfolio services.
Essential Functions
- Design and implement key LOE initiatives supporting multiple priorities with significant impact on
the organization and its ability to serve internal and external customers (e.g., performance
management, succession management, leadership integration and development, team
performance, etc.)
- Provide coaching and consultative support in all areas of organization effectiveness to individual
contributors, leaders and teams throughout the organization (as well as the LOE team)
- Review feedback from internal customers and develop proposals for revising, enhancing, or
modifying the existing LOE services based on that feedback
- Build strong relationships with HR leadership and Centers of Excellence (COE) teammates to
provide strong partnership when developing integrated HR solutions and processes
- Partner with HR Business Partners and management to assess organizational performance
problems through various information gathering methodologies such as focus groups, surveys,
and employee interviews in order to provide appropriate recommendations.
- Coordination and implementation of key strategic goals including leadership development
programming and/or facilitation of classroom instruction as needed.
- 70% of workload will be focused on consulting engagements. 30% will be focused on training and
development.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of four years experience related to consulting, coaching, team development, adult education in
developing curricula, presentation skills, data analysis, and management.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Training, Organizational Development, Education, Human Services, Sociology,
Psychology, or Business or related field.
Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted?: Yes
Licenses and Certifications
- May require a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- LOE/HR-related certifications (ex: DDI, MBTI, EQ, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect & 360,
PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/ SHRM-SCP, Coaching, Change Management, CLCP, ISD, etc.)
- Master’s degree in Business, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development or related field
- HR generalist experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of
- Principles, practices, methods and theories of team development, team dynamics and human
behavior.
- Adult learning theories and of training and development principles, practices and methods.
- E-learning and other technological solutions and the ability to effectively use these platforms to
develop and deliver training.
Skills
- Analytical research as demonstrated by the ability to collect, develop, assess and blend
information and recommendations from a wide variety of sources.
- Critical and creative thinking to assess and resolve problems or issues by gathering and
assessing information, taking advice and using judgment that is consistent with standards,
practices, policies, procedures, regulations and/or laws.
- Project management and organizational change to plan, prioritize, multi-task and independently
execute projects/tasks with specific deadlines while maintaining flexibility.
- Presentation software and other training tools and materials to create and deliver interesting and
high-quality training programs.

Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Cornerstone or similar learning management experience preferred.
