ACP provides support to consumers through four Programs:
Programs:
- Access and Prevention Services: often short-term support addressing basic needs and connection to ongoing services.
- Adult Services: often long-term support for individuals 18 years and older, focusing on behavioral health disorders, symptom reduction, and coping skill development.
- School-Based Services: Behavioral interventions for school-aged children and their families, both in-school and community-based.
- Specialized Outpatient Services: often long-term support for individuals 18 years and younger, including young children and their caregivers, focusing on behavioral health disorders and coping skill development.
Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to join our team as Therapists. These roles involve providing assessment, counseling, and therapeutic intervention services to a diverse client population, including youth and adults dealing with mental health and substance use issues. We have current positions in our School-Based, Specialized Outpatient (including Home-Based) and Adult Services programs. We have positions available in both Holmes and Wayne Counties, or a blend. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care and support to patients dealing with various mental health challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients of all ages, addressing a wide range of mental health and substance use issues.
- Build rapport and establish trusting relationships with clients.
- Therapeutic Services:
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support clients' mental health and recovery goals.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records including coding for billing purposes.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients facing difficult situations.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with other service providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings to support coordinated care efforts.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mental health, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Licensure:
- Required: LSW, LPC, or MFT.
- Preferred: LISW or LPCC.
- Experience:
- Experience in providing therapeutic services to youth and adults is preferred.
- Understanding of behavioral health issues and evidence-based interventions is beneficial.
- Experience utilizing an electronic health record is a plus.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Location: Multiple positions available in Holmes and Wayne Counties.
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $1,500 based on experience and licensure.
