Tacolcy Property Management Corporation (“TPMC”) is seeking full-time Leasing Consultants for several apartment communities in Miami, FL. Must speak fluent english, have affordable housing experience, and conduct business in a professional manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, HUD, and all other laws on housing.
Our Leasing Consultants must be Team Players, Enthusiastic, Highly Organized with Excellent Customer Service Skills and have at least two (2) years of solid experience in Affordable Housing Compliance, specifically LIHTC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting residents and prospective residents.
- Answering incoming phone calls and emails from prospects and residents.
- Creating Onesite Guess Cards and following up with prospects.
- Processing Rental Applications to include document verification.
- Prepare New/Renewal Leasing Packets for Manager’s review and signature.
- Conducts Tours. Opens, closes, and inspects model and market-ready vacancies daily to ensure cleanliness and move-in readiness.
- Physically inspects property and tag unauthorized vehicles for towing if directed by Community Manager.
- Imputing and tracking maintenance service requests.
- Preparing market surveys and traffic reports
- Gathering and reviewing affordable housing compliance documents for TICs
- Preparing resident files for compliance reviews.
- Processing and collecting rent and other fees.
- Preparing bank deposits.
- Preparing 3-Day Notices and other such required Notices to residents.
- Assisting in planning and coordinating Resident Activities.
- Performs any additional duties or task as assigned by Assistant Manager, Community Manager and/or Regional Manager.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of two 2 years verifiable Affordable Housing Leasing experience (i.e., LIHTC, SAIL, BOND and Section 8)
- Must know Onesite and be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be professional and have good common sense and judgment.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends if and when needed.
- Have the ability to learn and institute industry standards.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Having industry training and certifications is a plus.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to Speak Spanish/Creole a Plus!
