We are seeking a skilled Tax Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing client tax engagements, providing high-quality tax services, and offering guidance on complex tax issues.

Duties:
- Responsible for executing complex tax engagements with minimum supervision.
- Timely preparation of corporate, fiduciary, partnership, and personal tax returns with an emphasis on analytical thinking and problem resolution.
- Communicate directly with clients and build/manage client relationships; collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for tax filings.
- Conduct tax research.
- Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations.
- Lead and mentor Staff Accountants; review the tax preparation work of other Tax accountants.
- Provide backup coverage for the Tax Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- Advanced knowledge of applicable tax codes and demonstrated commitment to pursuing timely understanding of changes to the tax code is required.
- Demonstrated experience with preparing tax returns for S Corp/C Corps and LLC is required; multi-state and/or international tax experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be technically skilled with tax software and research tools; experience using Lacerte, ProFx, and RIA Checkpoint is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and client facing capability.
