JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a creative and motivated marketing assistant to join our team at FlipCo Financial, a leading hard money lender. This role is pivotal in supporting our marketing efforts to generate leads and enhance our brand presence across all digital platforms including social media, email, and our website.
As a marketing assistant, you will work closely with the marketing manager and the sales team to support our lead generation goals and increase our brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a flair for both print and digital content creation, including video, and possess the ability to engage our target audience effectively.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Directs, designs, leads and implements local market planning development, analysis and execution
- Create and post engaging content for social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Write and edit copy for email campaigns, newsletters, landing pages, and blogs
- Assist with the design and production of print, digital, and video materials, such as flyers, brochures, banners, and other promotional materials
- Performs competitive intelligence research and analysis leveraging internal and external data
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and activities using analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Meta
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in the hard money lending industry as well as general marketing sector
- Build and implement communication plans for new products and product enhancements
- Support the marketing manager and the sales team with various administrative tasks, such as updating databases, managing marketing inventory, and vendor management
- Assist Direct of Marketing to develop and execute event strategies that align with marketing goals, managing various aspects of event planning from conceptualization to execution, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and on-site management
- Create and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns to promote events, design promotional materials, manage registration and ticketing processes, and engage with attendees through innovative engagement strategies
- Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate success and identify improvement areas, maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, and manage sponsorships to ensure mutual benefit and brand alignment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years prior related work experience and/or Bachelor's degree in graphic marketing, communication, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in real estate industry, preferably in the hard money lending or finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in design programs including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva
- Familiar with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and web analytics tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate, energetic, and highly motivated to help a company win in a competitive, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Ability to handle high volume phone calls and various rebuttals required
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required, Bilingual a plus
- Proficient Computer and Data Entry Skills required
- Ability to champion ideas and execute in an expedited timeframe
- Ability to accommodate change and adapt accordingly
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
- All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
- Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
