Hospice Aide performs a combination of light housekeeping and personal hygiene duties including bathing, dressing, feeding, hair care and oral care for patients in a in-patient setting. They change linens, ensure patients are comfortable, and spend time talking and listening during bedside visits. Working under general direction and supervision of RN nursing staff.
A minimum of one year full-time hospice experience in direct client care in an agency setting, hospital or nursing facility. Able to work 7am-7pm shift (12 hour shift).
