Qualifications:2 years kitchen supervisory/kitchen manager position.
Ability to lead kitchen crew in a fast paced restaurant.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge and ability in restaurant line cooking.
Passion for cooking and pride in putting forth a great product.
Wisconsin ServSafe Certified.
Positive attitude.
Key Duties:-Responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, and provides leadership, training and mentorship to kitchen personnel, including cooking and preparation.
-Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment
-Maintaining food standards from receiving product through storage, preparation, cooking and presentation.
-Hiring and scheduling of kitchen team.
-Oversee labor and food costs.
-Work with FOH manager and ownership to maintain highest standards of restaurant operation.
-Ordering food and products through a variety of vendors with both quality and cost in mind, and maintaining inventory.
-Assist in creating specials and menu development.
-Control operations with use of daily cleaning and preparation schedules
-Weekly inventories and management meetings.
-Engage in team building through positive communication and feedback.
-Two Weeks Paid Vacation
