We are in need of a motivated, highly organized individual, able to multi task in high a volume business. We are looking for full-time Sales Assistant on our Public Safety Uniforms Team, catering to Law Enforcement & First Responders.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
· Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages, and screens and directs telephone calls for management in a professional manner. Assist with product inquiries, price quotes, order status and invoice payments. Able to input customer orders precisely in our ordering management system.
· Responsible for receiving and entering orders into company management software and schedule jobs on appropriate department calendars.
· Communicates effectively with customers, in person, on phone & in proper email correspondences.
· Composes, prepares and proofreads correspondence, office memos and reports on computer and maintains confidentiality when required.
· Process credit card payments, record payments by check, and maintains a petty cash fund with the proper documentation, makes change as needed and balances on a regular basis.
· Lifting of approximately 50lbs may be required, to assist customers or move office supplies.
· Support office staff, have extraordinary organizational skills, & provide a high level of customer service.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to speak to customers effectively. Spelling correctly is a MUST.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel, email.

· Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9am- 5pm. Office located in Watervliet, NY. Reliable transportation a must.
