POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Marketing Manager is to support the Executive Leadership with marketing and brand alignment across the organization. In addition, the Marketing Manager will work with the sales and engineering departments to ensure a consistent communication strategy and brand message in the market. The Marketing Manager will use their experience and abilities to ensure that every department is provided the appropriate tools, resources, and brand execution deliverables needed to achieve organizational goals.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Develop marketing campaigns to support specific marketing and financial objectives across different channels in support the overall business strategy
- Influence marketing team members to positively contribute and succeed in their role
- Market various channels and segment databases
- Develop business cases for marketing initiatives at the proposal stage, making recommendations on marketing tactics
- Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving lead flow, sales conversion, and customer retention initiatives
- Create and propose marketing research projects to generate consumer insights to support or improve marketing strategy and communications
- Build relationship with department leads and other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
- Lead execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging internal assets
- Works closely with external marketing partners to monitor, appraise, and review previous marketing strategies as well as upcoming opportunities
- Coordinates projects such as grassroots marketing and special events
- Manages social media marketing strategy and content marketing
- Coordinate company conferences, trade shows, and major events
- Support sales and lead generation efforts
- Ensure that marketing department processes are properly documented
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including high proficiency in all MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience leveraging software: HubSpot and GSuite
- Can successfully optimize and leverage CRM software automation, such as HubSpot to increase lead conversion rate and customer retention
- Advanced understanding of various digital marketing platforms and how a business should implement them
- Can effectively measure performance of a marketing campaign and draw conclusions to make recommendations
- Previous marketing experience required
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to think critically, in order to develop and assess marketing materials
- Outstanding organization and administrative skills
- Ability to demonstrate independent thinking as well as a teamwork approach to job responsibilities
- Accurately create written reports, training presentations, and correspondence
- Has excellent communication techniques with clients and team members in person, by phone, or written
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related equivalent of experience
- Minimum 3yrs of experience with progressive marketing responsibilities
- Experience with digital platforms, social media and content marketing
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Position may require travel: Up to 10%
- Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs
