Job Description
Volunteer part-time position to work with language maps and data.

Position Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Chief Cartographer this person:
1) Researches and designs maps
2) uses ArcGIS to revise existing data
3) interacts with the SIL webmaster in regard to placing maps on the Internet
4) Liaises with linguists and other cartographers
KSA Competency:
Education and Experience:
Must have an interest in mapping. Training in geography and cartography. Adequate experience using computer software, particularly experience needed with ESRI ArcGIS software.
Training and Orientation:
Members will complete the normal training and orientation programs. STMs will be given an individualized training and orientation program.
