In this role you will manage the receipt and shipment of all products, materials, and supplies leaving and entering our warehouse facility. This includes pulling, packing and staging all daily shipments to our customers, as well as our other branch locations. You will also work on the loading dock and receive incoming products to be inventoried into the warehouse and update our proprietary inventory tracking system.This will include working on the loading dock, within the parts stocking area, as well as at a computer. You will collaborate and communicate with our Purchasers to ensure that all PO’s are received in a timely manner as well as other team members involved in the receiving or processing of our products. You will collaborate and communicates with our Field Service Technicians, Customer Service Representatives, and others involved in the shipment of our products. This role also includes tracking and updating various other team members & departments of the status of their parts requests. In this role you will maintain a clean, organized work area while working within a larger, fast paced team environment.
The ideal candidate has good written and verbal communications skills; can work independently and within a larger team; has a strong sense of urgency and time management and has an upbeat, positive attitude towards the challenges each day presents. You have the ability to type efficiently, are very comfortable with working in computer environments and with various Microsoft Office programs. This role also includes working in our specialized software system to process sales orders, as well as UPS WorldShip and other vendor platforms to process shipments for various departments.
As an essential business, our performance directly impacts the ability of various critical regional infrastructure, medical and educational organizations to operate effectively, allowing them to serve the community as seamlessly as possible. This role supports the success of our organization by ensuring proper inventory levels, which allows us to effectively serve our customers’ needs.
The position is full time, M-F, 8am-5pm. Pay starts at $20/hr and can go up from there, depending on experience. There are also multiple bonus opportunities available.
