We are currently seeking an HR specialist who will be responsible for ensuring that our company's policies and procedures comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are enforced to support compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Reviewing our current company policies to ensure they meet current standards.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and off-boarding processes to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures.
- Manage employee files, including confidential personnel records, following legal requirements and company policies.
- Assist in performing employee background checks and other investigative tasks related to HR compliance.
Qualifications:
- This position requires great organization and communication skills
- 3 years HR experience
- Formal Human Resources degree
- Willing to work in a team environment
- Must be available during off hours in cases of emergency
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
