Exciting Opportunity: Direct Care- Mothers Advocate

Position Summary:
As a Supportive Care Provider, your primary responsibility will be to offer supportive and therapeutic care to substance-abusing women and their children. You will ensure that our programming is delivered efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall well-being and recovery of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and document clinical activities.
- Offer services to SACOT, SAIOP, and OUT-Patient programs.
- Transport community-based consumers to and from treatment sessions.
- Provide child watch services during treatment sessions.
- Maintain transportation logs and ensure the van is clean, fueled, and well-maintained.
- Monitor the correct use and installation of car seats, conducting quarterly inventory.
- Facilitate treatment orientation sessions for new clients.
- Collect random urine drug screens and breathalyzer tests.
- Observe medication administration for residential consumers during treatment.
- Attend mini-team meetings and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Distribute snacks, monitor stock, and supervise breaks and lunchtimes.
- Manage the clothing closet for clients.
- Communicate daily with the team and advocate for clients' needs.
- Provide monthly reports and document logs and incident reports as required.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of work experience, preferably in direct healthcare.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and dedicated to supporting the needs of vulnerable populations.
